Short trip
You can meet me at the Blue Lamp for sessions on Saturday and Sunday at 10 p.m.
I will be running workshops
"One of the most interesting elements of a folk session where many people play is the accompaniment instead of playing the main melody. This accompaniment is improvisation in the background (when the melody is played and when someone is singing a song). When the person singing trusts the musician, he will let him improvise while singing. Improvisation requires preserving the harmony of melody style and ornamentation. I will try to prepare you for such a role."
A few words about me:
I have been playing folk music non-professionally for 25 years, for almost 20 years it has been music from Ireland and Scotland. I was born in Poland, I have been visiting Scotland for 15 years, and I have been living here for four years.
